Oil Recommendation

  • Lexus recommends API-certified 5W-30 engine oil in the 1993 LS 400 in all temperatures below 100 degrees F. If the outside temperature remains above 0 degrees F, 10W-30 engine oil is an acceptable alternative. In temperatures over 100 degrees F, Lexus recommends only 10W-30. Including the oil filter, the LS 400 had an oil capacity of 5.6 quarts.
