Oil Recommendations

  • In temperatures that stay above 0 degrees F, Jeep recommends using 10W-30 engine oil. Jeep also says that you can opt for 5W-30 if the temperature stays below 60 degrees F — Jeep actually recommends this weight of oil in sub-zero temperatures. The 2.5-liter engine requires four quarts of oil to fill it, while the 4.0-liter, inline-six engine requires six quarts to fill it.
